ABOUT OUR CANTINA BABES
Combining the art of exotic dance with roleplaying, improv, circus, sideshow, and other extraordinary abilities, let our Cantina Babes enchant and enthrall you! Each performer will do stage sets as well as interact with guests on the floor as original sci-fi characters that they've either created just for this occasion or perhaps some old favorites that they have always wanted to bring to life.

Note: Our performers are required to embody the characters they've chosen to become ALL NIGHT. Please don't ask them personal questions or try to force them to break character. It's a dick move.

About the artists:
Augie Haas currently lives in New York City where he is a professional trumpeter, composer, and teacher. As one of the most in-demand trumpet players in New York, Augie has worked with artists including Harry Connick, Jr., The Maria Schneider Orchestra, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, The Gil Evans Project, Birdland Big Band, various Broadway shows, and The Radio City Orchestra. Augie is currently a regular member of the orchestra for Aladdin on Broadway.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Augie earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of the Performing Arts. After Chicago, he attended The University of Miami’s Frost School of Music Conservatory for a Masters in Studio Music in Jazz, and a Doctorate in Musical Arts.

Augie has released five albums under his co-founded label Playtime Music: The Llama, Doing it Augie Style, Baby Jazz, Endless, and his most recent album, Have We Met? He also authored and self-published his book Build Your Range for both trumpet and trombone which has been sold worldwide.

Bella Blue is born and raised in New Orleans. She has had the distinct honor of headlining burlesque festivals, tattoo festivals, fundraisers, social events, birthday parties, baby showers, and more. With a career spanning over 18 years, burlesque has brought her to the seedy underbellies of New York City to parading in the streets of Switzerland to teaching in the beautiful dance studios of Brussels to performing in a palace in Austria for the largest AIDS fundraiser event in the world. She has performed and produced for The Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender and in 2018, was selected to compete for the title of Miss Exotic World. For several years, she was voted to be in the Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Industry Figures in the world by 21st Century Magazine. She continues to lead the industry in New Orleans and is the proud owner of The Original Nite Cap.
